Stanley Advantage Limited Warranty

What You Get with Stanley Advantage

This limited warranty is good for three months or 3000 miles, whichever comes first. All you need to pay is $100 per visit. It starts on the purchase date with the mileage recorded at the time of purchase. Towing up to $75 per occurrence is included in this warranty.
If the issue is covered by any other warranty, Stanley Advantage pays the difference. Parts covered by this limited warranty include the following:

• Engine, which includes the cylinder block and heads, pistons, piston rings, valve springs, and seals, pushrods, water and fuel pumps, oil pump and housing, engine mounts, and other components to this system
• Turbocharger, which includes the housing and parts
• Transmission, along with all internal parts, such as transmission cooler and mounts, transfer case, and flywheel
• Drive axle for the front and rear, locking hubs, and other components
• Fluid coverage for the replacement of fluids and oils involved in a covered repair

Limits and Buyer’s Responsibility

The maximum coverage for any one issue is $3000 or the price paid for the vehicle, whichever is lesser. You must maintain the vehicle as outlined by the owner’s manual from the manufacturer. You will need to keep copies of all maintenance and repair records. If you fail to keep records of maintenance, your repairs won’t be covered.
You must also protect your vehicle when you notice an issue to prevent further damage. This may mean not driving your vehicle until it can be repaired even if it is still drivable.
Another requirement is that you must bring your vehicle to a Stanley dealership for repairs. If you are traveling a distance and aren’t near any dealerships, you will need to contact the administrator of the warranty to receive pre-authorization for any repairs. The administrator of the warranty has the right to inspect the vehicle prior to processing the claim.
Commercial vehicles or any vehicle used for commercial purposes isn’t covered. Vehicles used for off-road racing or competition also are not covered by this limited warranty. If a part isn’t listed in the warranty, it’s not included in the coverage.
When you buy a used vehicle from any Stanley dealership, you will sign the form for the Stanley Advantage limited warranty. It lists the information on your vehicle, including current mileage and purchase date. It also lists in detail all components covered under the warranty.
